Summit is a monthly event geared up for young adults (16+) from across the diocese. No other diocese can boast the beauty of our diocese with its Lake District and Castlerigg is right at the heart of it with easy access to Skiddaw, Blencathra, Sca Fell, Helvelyn, Derwentwater and the Newlands valley, not to mention the Trough of Bowland, Howgills, and stunning coastlines. After the meets at Castlerigg we often share a meal together and relax. Our next meeting is on Sunday 3 June in Lancaster. We will be meeting for Mass at 9.30am in the parish of St Thomas More, St Thomas More Walk, Off Willows Road, Lancaster LA1 5PT – and take it from there. Please bring a packed lunch, warm clothes, water, good walking boots – and if the sun is shining, suncream and hat.
