Vision & Mission
The Youth Service of the RC Diocese of Lancaster exists to serve the young people of the Diocese by supporting and nurturing their faith development.
It is through an encounter with Christ that lives are transformed and we as a Youth Service seek to provide young people with the opportunity to meet, grow in relationship with and knowledge of Jesus Christ and His Church.
We seek to do this by providing young people with a wide range of opportunties as well as supporting those working with young people. Diocesan based events allow young people to see the “bigger picture” and build a sense of identity and belonging. National and international events such as conferences; pilgirmages; World Youth Day and other such events ensure young epople gain a sense of the wider church and a shared sense of ownership and contribution.
