The Manor is set in 4 acres of mature grounds, less than 15 minutes walking time from Keswick town centre. The front of the building looks directly onto Skiddaw and Latrigg, while the rear gives a view over Derwentwater to Borrowdale. Location is an important factor in a residential experience, as it helps young people to get the most out of their time by providing them with environmental and social stimuli different to what they are familiar with back home. The location of Castlerigg in the Lake District helps young people to benefit from a 'retreat' experience.
