hey every one!!!! it titch (jess) from "name of school" Jus come back from the december 11-15 trip.
Just like to say a really big thanks to all the staff especially my group leader sara!! you helped me grow in confidence to talk to different people throught the week although i still couldnt talk much in the role plays at the end lol!!! and thanx to wot u wrote in my book sara it meant a lot to me and it made me cry : (. I had a really amazing time and i would recomend it to anyone but i must admit that the songs weren't the best bit of the time there lamo!!
it was a truly life changing week i now look at loads of different people differently and my self differently. Some of the games really helped you realise things as well like the asylum game especially if ur an asylum seeker.
it was one of the best times ive ever had not joking. id love to come work there but i cant because im not catholic (sigh). i like like it if u cud e-mail me back but if u cant then its understandable. Hello x its catherine ( cat ) castlerig was one of the best things of my life. i feel like i have become closewith everyone especially people who i havent talked 2 in my lyf. it woz soooo gud i wish i cud go bk for another week or 2 .  All the staff were so nice, Adam had such a cute smile, it made me giggle lol, adam is a very nice person and very friendly but i think you need to learn the guitar more lol. I really need to build up my confidence, i think tht all the staff are so brave and talkin to us for quite a while and singing as well John!  Well i would jus like 2 say thankyou so much.i had a brilliant tym and i would love 2 come again!!! whens the next trip???? i would so like to come bk and do another week evn if we were doin the same things! well i hope everyone at Castlerigg have a Excellent Christmas and a Happy New Year! thnkyou for the best timee of my life and I hope Adam gets better at the guitar! day early.

Firstly like to say that I had the most amasing time ever, ever, ever!!! Met
the most amasing people ever, ever, ever!!!

Secondly I'd like to thankyou Caz, John, Mike, Sarah  and Father Peter,
because, well I cant explain it very well, but my beleif and faith that God
is listning and trying to guide me has become a million times stronger, that
would not of happned if I wasn't given the opertunity to think about things,
to wait and listen to God's reply and to be in the chapel where the most
amasing things happend.

The night we did our confessions or asked for a blessing was the most
amasing night for me, I felt that I was really connecting with God and he
was listning, it was such an amasing feeling. It may sound soooo cheesy, but
I thought I'd let you know how it felt, beacuse its down to you guys I felt
so amasing.

Lastly I'd like to say it was soo fun, I was really dissapointed that I had
to leave you all early,but even though I did leave early I still got a heck
of alot out of my stay. Theres somthing about Castlerigg thats special and
I'm so happy I went.

Really upset that I missed the Disco beacause you didn't get the chance to
see my amasing, funky moves!

John.... BECOME A COMEDIAN!!! or maybe a profesional domino course builder thingy along with Adam! However never do
that hand clappy thing with me again, as im injured, and I'm still annoyed
you laughed at me when I was attacked in the puddle! only joking.

Caz you are such an admirable person! really you truly are! So much
dedication and determination for what you do!
Also a flippin' good walker!

Sarah, Didn't get to talk to you as much, but I'm telling you now, you are
so like our headteacher's daughter! She is a very nice person though! oooo I
did forget to tell you, that you always had gorgeous jewlery!

Mike, our team leader!!! oh yea team 3! woop! your such a leg-end (thats our
way of pronouncing legend). you love 'the lion the which in the wardrobe'
which is fabby. I do have a bone to pick though... Ive only gone and got the
flu!!! :( ah well had to go to sombody! Thanks for being great!

Father Peter I loved your walking hat, maybe going to buy one! The guitarist
of the week! Thanks for everything :)

I'm thinking seriously about coming back for a gap year to Castlerigg as I
would really love to be there. Please e-mail me back, stay in touch etc
because I cant beleive how much Castlerigg has Changed me!!! THANKOOOOO!!!

I was at Castlerigg Manor with name of school in November 1973. Yes, I'm 48 now, my old school is no longer there but pleased to see Castlerigg Manor still is.  I am living in Birmingham and have an almost grown up family now, in fact my daughter is now the same age as I was when I went there with the school.  If anybody takes the trouble to read let me tell you this is much more than a week away with your mates from school. If you take it seriously enough you learn so much about yourself. I still remember the week very well but more important how it was to help me later in life. Father Foulkes was the Director at the time and Bill Duncan was on the scene.....maybe you still are Bill? Keep up this invaluable work.

Hey everyone, It's Emily and Hannah here (11th- 15th sept). We just
want to say thanks again for the great time we had when we went to
castlerigg. Hope everyone is ok (especially bob/Jon). We all want to come
back for another week because we're missing it so much. On the way back we
sung all the songs you taught us... well Brendan sung most of them but we
all joined in. Although "oh a leyla" can get quite tiresome once he has sung
it 15 times! Even though we complained quite a bit we enjoyed every second
and we wish all the staff  every happiness. Bob we really miss your jokes
(and you mountain rescuer hat!). I've asked all my friends why they call me
frenchy but no-one can seem to answer the question so it will have to remain
a mystery.

Our year 10s came today (We are so jealous 23/1/06) and me and my friends were going to hijack the coach so we could come back! Hi and thanks to Caz, Rosie, Maria and Jack for helping us have a fab time at Castle Rigg and im definitely coming back next year! Everyone who came on the trip thank you for an excellent week we are all
truly grateful and thank the time, effort and patience you had with us
we all discovererd new stronger bonds with each other even people we dont
usually talk to and we all learned to appreiciate people and all that they
do for us even if we dont neccecerily see it .. thanks to jon for
providing entertaining stories about swearing at the pope and letting me and nat
have
freedom in out groups presentations thanks to tree for having a constant
smile and cheering us all up at 8 45 in the morining thanks to caz for
keeping everything running smoothly and supporting us in whatever we did and
encouriging us to all become stronger more thoughtful people and for the
support in me reading the "Should i Become A Preist " Book thank you to
colin for providing excellnt food and  a detailed and caring description
of
his vocation also again the food was absoulutly amazing " how much is he
to
hire"???? and thanks to rosie for her patience with the " Crazy Crew" at
the
dinner time we apologise for you being lumbered with a loud bunch of
meandathols and hope you continue to medical school and become a military
nurse im sure you will make everyone feel better with your dazzerling
