Catholic Youth Services - CYS is the agency of the Bishop's conference responsible for advising on and supporting youth ministry. Their site contains a wealth of resources and information including job vacancies, youth events, news, clergy & youth leader resources, liturgy and local directories
infed.org - The Informal Education website. This site is maintained by Mark Smith, Tony Jeffs and other leading practitioners in the field of youth work. Although it's outlook is secular it is very useful to Christian ministry as well. It contains a massive archive with all kinds of information and articles
Catholic Calendar - This website is fairly lo-tec, but it does give you the mass readings for every single day of the year. As in, the text as well as the reference. It also tells you what Rosary to pray today! Now, being fairly lo-tec, it doesn't automatically take you to the current day, rather you may have to click through. But it's worth the hassle.
Torch - The electronic publishing house of the English Dominicans (Order of Preachers). The first page gives you a sermon for the next sunday (or holy day of obligation) as well as links to the readings. The liturgical index lets you search each Sunday or HDO throughout the three year liturgical cycle and have a look at the readings and a sermon written especially by one of the Dominican Friars
The Holy See - The Vatican website has all kinds including the VIS (Vatican Information Service), most vatican documents, councils, encyclicals, information about World Youth Day, the Popes and their teachings, The saints, the vatican library and secret archives and the news service. There is also a section for each vatican department and service
One Rock - Really good US Catholic youth site, with discussion boards, question and answer sections, links to catechesis and apologetics and lots of fun stuff. Interestingly this site is run by Catholic teenagers with that age group in mind
CAFOD - The Catholic Agency For Oversees Development is a respected charity run by the Bishops Conference of England & Wales. Their website contains information about their many campaigns and initiatives as well as a wealth of resources and information on trade justice issues and others
Catholic Online - One of the largest Catholic Community Sites in the world. The site has news, as well as sections for shopping, travel, education, information and issues. You can also get free web mail, if you fancy being johnsmith@catholic.org or whatever!
The Catechism of the Catholic Church - The Full and complete text of the CCC online, presented with a search function and table of contents. The text is also easy to copy and paste
Giga Catholic Information - Huge huge catholic directory resource. This site is not pretty in terms of design but the menus at the top are very easy to use and get you to a wealth of information. For example, just about every diocese in the world, every bishops conference, Vatican department, Apostolic Nuncio, Cardinal, Patriarch, saint... You can also search Church documents by author, theme and year. Worth a look if you're trying to find things or if you're a bit of a Catholic geek
xt3 - I've only just discovered this site but it looks amazing. It has forums, TV, news, chat, lots of info and history, games, events and loads of other things. Definately worth exploring. You can also set up your own space, kind of like a Catholic myspace!
