In August Bosco and Fr Philip left Castlerigg Manor to move on to their new roles in Lancaster. Fr Philip has sent us a report on how they are both doing. We miss them here and look forward to them visiting us soon.
“Bosco and myself have arrived safely in Lancaster. It's a new time as I begin as a parish priest in Lancaster and also chaplain to the University of Lancaster, but everyone has been very welcoming and so far I haven't had a moment to look back. There is a lot going on in the parish with its schools, the hospital and hospice, visiting the housebound, and keeping the parish running. Bosco is all set for his first fresher's week and his range of football skills and fascination for motorbikes, lawnmowers and food blenders never ceases to amaze me!”
